Our Heavy Duty Compost Thermometer has been combined with our Probe Guard, providing you with added protection and extended product life. This combination results in our strongest and most durable analog probe. This bundle includes the Reotemp A36PF-D43 probe and a matching probe guard.

The Reotemp Probe Guard is an accessory designed for your Heavy Duty compost thermometer. It is engineered to guard the stem of your compost thermometer from bending and to prevent the dial from getting damaged during insertion. Both the probe guard and thermometer are made in the USA.

The Probe Guard consists of a long stainless steel sheath and a painted steel handle. The rugged sheath has an outside diameter of roughly 1/2", giving the guard enhanced strength. The sheath is hollow, allowing you to insert your Heavy Duty thermometer inside the guard. The thermometer will then screw into the handle securely. The last two inches of your thermometer will extend out of the tip of the guard, enabling you to maintain a quick response time. The probe guard arrives fully assembled and ready-to-use out of the box.

Featuring a 36" Stem Length, the Heavy Duty thermometer is constructed with Rugged All Stainless Steel for enhanced durability. The Probe Guard provides extra protection for this 36" stem, ensuring it remains intact during use.

Both the Reotemp Probe Guard and Heavy Duty Compost Thermometer are proudly made in the USA. The hermetically sealed dial on the thermometer prevents fogging, maintaining clear visibility at all times.

The large 3" Dual Scale Dial on the thermometer displays temperatures from 0 to 200°F and -10 to 90°C, ensuring comprehensive measurement capabilities.
