The ERICKHILL EWM04 Wood Moisture Meter is a versatile tool capable of measuring moisture levels in walls, wood, masonry, and building materials. It boasts an accuracy of ± 4.0% and a resolution of 0.10%. The device operates within a temperature range of 32°F to 104°F (0°C to 40°C) and can be stored in temperatures between 14°F and 122°F (-10°C to 50°C). The working humidity range is 0 to 90% RH.

It's important to note that the moisture detector's humidity, measurement accuracy, and moisture content readings only provide relative values of the humidity inside the material being tested. When the interior of a wall contains conductive elements such as steel bars or wires, it may impact the WALL/MASONRY measurement mode. Users should be mindful of these disturbances and adjust their readings accordingly.

The EWM04 features an automatic shutdown function that turns off the power after approximately 15 minutes of inactivity. Additionally, it offers a data-hold feature, allowing users to lock the current water content display by briefly pressing the "Hold" button when the measured value is stable.

For added convenience, the device includes a buzzer that can be turned on or off by long-pressing the "DEN" button. When the moisture content reaches or exceeds the set alarm value, the buzzer will sound an alarm.
