This flexible calibration feature allows the REOTEMP moisture meter to be customized to a diverse number of applications, from fruit trees to tomatoes or compost, enabling users to decide their ideal moisture level with a turn of the calibration screw on the back of the unit.
The unit is easily user-calibrated to an "ideal" moisture level, as chosen by the user. The 0 to 10 scale of the MM24 indicates a relative "wetter" or "dryer" reading, with the moisture meter measuring moisture at the tip of the probe. Calibration instructions are conveniently printed on the side of the meter head and included on the back of the box, making it easy for users to get their soil or compost to the optimal moisture level and adjust the needle accordingly.
Powered by a single AAA battery (included), the REOTEMP moisture meter is built with a rugged metal construction and a T-handle, ensuring durability and ease of use. The thick 5/16" diameter stem allows for deeper penetration, making it perfect for measuring the moisture of tree roots or in deeper pots.
