The Huepar moisture meter offers both pin-type and pinless scanning capabilities in a single, convenient device. Suitable for a wide range of wood and building materials, the pinless scanning mode provides non-invasive measurements ideal for delicate surfaces, while the pin-type mode delivers faster response and higher accuracy for a variety of applications.

This versatile moisture sensor can be used to measure softwoods, hardwoods, firewood, masonry, and drywall, making it an excellent tool for home renovations, woodworking, and flooring installation projects. It can also function as a wall water leak detector and measure the current environmental temperature.

Featuring a user-friendly design, the wood moisture meter boasts a large backlit LCD screen with a three-color LED bar graph, a hold button for recording measurement results, an automatic power-off function, an over-range beep alarm, and a low battery indicator. For added convenience, the device has 9 pre-programmed wood material scales printed on the back.

To ensure the proper functioning of the moisture meter, it includes a self-testing feature. Simply select the Wood density grade 2, insert the pins into the two holes in the protective cap, and check the reading. If the displayed value falls between 16.6% and 20.6%, the meter is working correctly; otherwise, it requires further inspection.

This accurate and professional tool can measure wood materials ranging from 6% to 60% moisture content, and building materials from 0% to 33% with a 0.1% resolution. The temperature range is 0-50°C (32-122°F) with a 0.1°C (0.1°F) resolution. The pin-mode accuracy is +/-2%, while the pinless scan mode offers +/-4% accuracy. The temperature measurement has an accuracy of +/-2°C (+/-2°F).

In addition to the pins installed on the Wood Moisture Meter, the package includes replacement pins, a protective cap, a carrying pouch that can be attached to your belt for easy access, and a user manual. The automatic power-off function conserves battery life by turning off the device after 300 seconds of inactivity, ensuring the meter is always ready for your next measurement.
