The TS-630 Wood Moisture Meter boasts 7 measurement modes and corresponding materials, including Hardwood (Beech, spruce, larch, birch, cherry, and walnut), Softwood (Oak, pine, maple, ash, Douglas fir, Eucalyptus), Concrete, Drywall, Cement Mortar, Lime Mortar and Gypsum, and Brick. The moisture meter comes with a mini wrench and spare probes for easy replacement of used pins. It also includes a drawstring dust storage bag for easy and safe storage, and an anti-slide stripe design on both sides for a better grip with increased friction. Additionally, a screen protector is provided to prevent scratches on the meter's screen during transportation.

The large 2.25" LCD screen makes it easy to read accurate moisture readings on the surface of materials. The moisture content is displayed with a bar graph and percentage (%RH) on the screen, and the Date Hold and Max/Min function is used to freeze readings, which is useful for writing down data.

The TS-630 features an HD tri-color backlight (green for low moisture, orange for middle moisture, and red for high moisture) to easily determine the wood/wall humidity level. The pin-type moisture meter is battery-operated and does not require calibration. It will auto shut off after 10 minutes of non-use to save energy, and a low-battery indicator will appear on the screen when the battery is running out.
